A Bit About Me
Hi, my name is Susie Parker-Garrick, and I am based 10 miles between Lincoln and Sleaford.

During my life, I have had a varied amount of experience, taking part in several courses and various jobs. After completing my GCSEs and then a GNVQ in Business, I decided to take a gap year. During this first year, I completed a Prue Leith cookery course a secretarial course at St. James and then went to work for Forte head office, followed by working at Harrods in their January sales, which then resulted in working for Escada Sports during their Summer sale Collect. I then decided to take a second year off while I applied to universities to read Marketing and IT. During this second year, I spent a month in Florence, Italy, where I took Italian lessons, a cookery course, and life drawing. After this, I visited Granada in Spain, where I spent three months learning Spanish.
A Bit More About Me
I studied Marketing and IT at Christ Church University College in Canterbury. After completing a year and a half, I decided that I needed to focus solely on Marketing. So reapplied to do Marketing at the Univerity of Lincoln. Before starting, I worked full-time for Humberts Estate Agent as their Head Negotiator and ran the office. After completing my degree and gaining a Two: One BA Degree, I went to work in the events industry. After working within the industry for two different charities, I decided to follow my passion and dreams of setting up my own business and working with dogs. I took the all-important steps at the beginning of 2012 and set up Muddy Paws Dog Training. I completed a year-long mentorship with Steve Mann from IMDT during that first year of business. I have gained a wide range of experience and qualifications over the years, which includes working in Spain for six months at In The Doghouse as their Senior Trainer for TV dog trainer Nando Brown. I am always working on my personal development by attending courses and seminars from a variety of different trainers as well as completing different training courses. However, this has become a little harder over the last three years with having two children and COVID-19.

Today, I run a successful dog training business as well as daycare and home boarding based at our family home on the farm.
